Style:
Joseph Holmes takes pictures of landscape photography. I can compare it to other landscape photographers. He takes a lot of pictures in fall. He takes many pictures of fall woods and mountains. I really like his fall photos. Noe of my favorites it the picture he has of the leaves wet.
Philosophy:
Joseph Holmes takes these photos to show how amazing the world looks from around the world. He is trying to show how amazing the nature is around us. He want’s people to help save the environment. He wants people to stop destroying it with their every day actions like burning gas and other fossil fuels. So he is taking nature photography so people see what they are destroying and can stop destroying the nature.
Influences:
I really like his landscape photography. I with I could go to some of the places he has been to take pictures. I really like his picture of the Colorado River with the Grand Canyon on each side of it. I really like all of his nature photography. I agree with him that we need to save the environment. Our environment is very important.
Compare and Contrast:
Joseph Holmes’s photos had way more and better color. My color did not match his very well. My photos do not have as much color as his do. His photos are more clear than mine. The closest photo that we have is my Fall Trees photo and his Aspen Grove.
Personal Artist Statement:
My photos have similar light to Joseph’s but his photos have more vibrant light than mine. I really like how all of my pictures turned out. I took a bunch of just landscape photography while I was taking these photos. I was really surprised on how well they turned out. I used the rule of thirds when I was taking most of these pictures. My favorite picture that I took was water flowing in a stream.
